ITPS Introduction to Pamir – Online student led:
Scope: This student led course is intended for users who are already familiar with roof, floor or timber frame design principles. Its aim is to cover in general terms all of the basic tools required to use MBA and the Pamir software for the creation of roof, floor and timber frame structures. It is structured for self paced learning to suit both detailers and estimators. Modular and summary quizzes are used to gauge knowledge, understanding and ability to use the points covered.
Delivery: Self teach, using screen presentation materials and documentation that will be provided via a download link following enrolment.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum two months’ prior hands on roof, floor or timber frame building design experience
- OR completion of MiTek or TRA Introduction to trusses or MiTek introduction to floor design.
