A group of key customers now have a deeper understanding of the value that MiTek Dedicated Services can bring to their businesses thanks to a recent visit to Vietnam.
The trip took place in November last year and saw a mix of clients, including housebuilders, timber engineers and supply chain customers, spending time with the Vietnam-based team. They not only got to know the operation and took part in hands-on training but had the opportunity to socialise with the team and experience local culture.
MiTek Dedicated Services provides bespoke construction-based service solutions, including expert drafting, estimating and rendering, for housebuilders, residential developers, architects, manufacturers and the housebuilding supply chain.
Anthony Mitchell, Business Development Manager at MiTek UK & Ireland, Residential EMEA, said: “There are some misconceptions about our Dedicated Services team in Vietnam. Many customers have worked with the team before but don’t fully grasp the scale of our operations and the breadth of services we provide. That’s why we take them there – to experience it firsthand. It’s an incredible facility, and nothing compares to seeing it in person.
“It’s about building confidence in what the team can deliver for their businesses. The operation is extensive, highly professional, and fully equipped to meet our customers’ specific needs. Additionally, its scalability ensures that as a customer’s business expands, MiTek Dedicated Services can seamlessly grow alongside them.”
Alongside becoming immersed in and learning more about the operations, the trip saw customers take part in face-to-face training, with the opportunity to work with staff to get valuable hands-on experience.
The week-long trip opened customers’ eyes to the advantages of working with MiTek Dedicated Services. Time spent with the team broadened customers’ appreciation of the services on offer and highlighted how they can support their own businesses more effectively.
Customers also experienced Vietnamese culture and connected personally with the team. This helped nurture relationships alongside improving communication and collaboration, developing strong partnerships between customers and the MiTek team.
Customers were enthused about their time in Vietnam and spoke glowingly about MiTek Dedicated Services.
“There are a lot of misconceptions back at home. I think that you need to go out there just to experience it and see what the culture and the operations are actually like. I think it’s a great place,” said customer Ross Constant, Senior Technical Manager for Allison Homes.
“It’s just impressive to see the magnitude of what’s going on out here. It’s a full turnkey service.”
Kostas Anastasakis visited MiTek Dedicated Services from AES Sustainability Consultants, part of MiTek’s supply chain. He added: “There are excellent opportunities to develop more business with MiTek. We saw people using all different types of software, so it seems that even though our sector is quite different, we can develop additional services and work with the team across many other disciplines.”
